Christmas Tilda bulbs

I’m sure everyone must think I got lost out in Blogland but I have finally found my way back & have missed this & all of you so much … I had to get a new laptop & am having trouble remembering how to even put anything on here. Gee I wonder why, it’s only been MONTHS since I’ve posted. So please bear with me & I will try & add a few pictures of my latest obsession of making Christmas bulbs with everything from Tildas to scenes from a class I took recently & even putting pictures in them. What a fun thing to do … I’m trying to figure out how to display them since Christmas is almost here & it will be time to take the tree down before I even get these on my tree. This is the precious little “Mini Halo Tilda” … I stamped & colored her with Copics & then cut her out with a Spellbinders die & popped her into a bulb. She’s ready for the tree !!!

I saw this on a blog of Mindys & will add the link tomorrow but I want to make sure I don’t lose these or it might be another few months before I get this done !!!

I put a backing on this from some gold paper made from an envelope my friend Patti Park gave me. What a perfect weight of paper & a great way to use up something we might just toss out ..  I stamped a SU angel on it to compliment this little cutie …

Here’s another bulb I made with a wonderful glitter technique I did at a class. We made this card but when I got home I decided to cut it out & stick it in a bulb for another new decoration …
I LOVE using something I learn that can be used for multiple craft projects … After we made this I colored it in with Copics ….

This is the backside of this scene, stamped with a fun Snow stamp …
This is another of my favorite mini Tilda’sP1020980

This is my grand daughter Ashley who is in the Airforce & can’t be home for Christmas, thought I’d make an ornament to hang on the tree so we can see her pretty face if she calls …

I seriously forgot how much I enjoyed this wonderful addiction & it feels like I’m “back home again” … Thanks for sticking with me & hopefully this will be the 1st of many new cards I’ll have to share. I’ve missed you my near & far stamping friends …
I'm entering this card it the Make it Monday challenge
Hugs, Janie

  21. Hi Janie
You asked me how I made the metal snow crystals.

    http://mariannevanlunszen.blogspot.com/2011/12/winter-wonderland.html#comment-form

With spell Binder and I used a empty soup sachet, some cardboard underneath .

    Your ornaments are really great!

  26. Thank you so much for the wonderful comment you made on my blog. I see you have been gone for awhile but it is nice to see you back in blogland again. All your ornaments are wonderful. Coloring with red is a little trickie, all you need to do is take your time start off with little color and work it out. It is fine to be a challenge for you but step up to that color and you can do it. That is what I did.
    Hugs, Pat
