Snow Flowers

The theme this week at The Paper Shelter is "for The Boys" challenge #109 ...
The winner will get a generous $30 gift certificate to spend buying these wonderful digis if you use one of their images. If you use another image instead you can still win 3 digis of your choice. So grab your supplies & come join us ... We love to see what you can create ...
Since we're STILL having winter I created a card using "Snow Flowers" instead of tulips or daffodils with a cute little PS image called "Delicious Cocoa".

I paired him up with a digital sentiment from Whimsy Doodles that I thought went quite well with my card. I popped on a few pearl brads & tiny pearls in the centers of my Cheery Lynn "snow flowers" to give them a little sparkle. The paper I used is from Bo Bunny called "Snowfall words" & I seriously hated to cut into it as it is so pretty. I guess we can only admire them for so long before we must use them for what they were intended .... Funny how I have enough paper to rival a scrapbook shop but never seem to have the right color or pattern.

The Paper Shelter has reached 1000 followers so we are celebrating ....
I hope you will check out all the new images as well as the older ones as they are all just wonderful to color up & turn into your own creations.

Thanks for stopping by & hope you can take a little time to create today ...
Hugs, Janie

  21. Mom, it just makes me so proud to visit your site and read all these wonderful comments from your followers! I know you said you didn't LOVE this card but I think he's adorable. His long hair sticking out of his hat reminds me of Ryan and that big mug of hot chocolate reminds me of the time we came to visit you and Jay in SC and Ryan ordered that HUGE mug of hot cocoa & whipped cream at IHOP! It was bigger than he was. :) Thanks for sharing your passion with all of us lucky followers and bringing back great memories through your creations! I love you mom!
