I LOVE this little Henry Mouse !!! I made this card a long time ago but never posted it so thought I’d put him on here & share him. Such a simple card but I just love that silly grin on his little face. I used a Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder for the background & then matted him on Real Red cardstock from SU. I believe the edge punch is a Martha Stewart punch & the ribbon is from SU. I used Flower Soft on his hat & for the snow.

I used the Spellbinders large Poinsettia die to cut & emboss it & added a few little white Dew Drops in the centers. The red & green flower at the bottom of the picture will be used on another card. It’s made from velvet papers that I cut with a Marianne die & a Nellie Snellen punch.

For my card today I'm making an Easel card using something a little different.
How many of us have been getting those wonderful Magnolia stamps & throwing away the wrappers they come in ?
Well I finally decided they were just too wonderful to get tossed away or recycled so I started playing with them & this is what I came up with …. Flowers & tags all created from those beautiful packages that are probably getting tossed in the trash !!!
I also used some little strips of the package to make the mat on the front of my card. I was thinking “Boy I NEED to order some more stamps & Doohickeys so I have more paper to play with” .
Those amazing Doohickeys come on some great little papers that are a little larger than the stamp papers so I made some fun embellishments out of them. I cut one of the tags out of white cardstock & put in on the inside then decided to make a “hidden message” so cut out another one using the packaging from the Doohickey die & hinged it with a brad for a little sentiment …
Here’s a close-up of the cute little flower I made using another Doohickey petals die from the paper it came on ….
I just started punching & die cutting flowers from different parts of the front as well as the back & even tho the papers didn’t cost anything , I think they are some of the most incredible flowers I’ve made … Thanks Magnolia for not only making us these amazing stamps & dies but also for these most beautiful papers !!!
Copic colors used for this sweet little Tilda are
Stamps: Tilda (not sure of her name as I had to borrow that stamp from my good friend Ruth Ann) If one of us doesn’t have it the other one usually does …
Sentiment from PTI
Punches: EK Success Retro in 3 sizes
Martha Stewart grass punch with bunnies
MS Branch punch
Sizzix Branch with leaves die
Doohickeys : Lovely Fence, Vintage Lace Tag, Peony Petals & that wonderful packaging :) …

Today I’ve made a simple Anniversary card using only black & white ….
I used a Spellbinders Lotus die on the front & again on the inside for the sentiment … When I cut it out the negative was so pretty I decided to use it for the opposite side … I made several flowers from punches & attached to the centers of the die.
I took a picture outside so you could see how I embossed the front with my wonderful Scor-Buddy … Love that handy little tool.
No coloring on this just simple basic black & white …
Supplies used :
Black & white cardstock from Stampin Up
DP is Diecuts with a view
Punches, Nellie Snellen & EK Success flowers
Spellbinders Lotus die
Cuttlebug for embossed black flower
Front sentiment is from Great Impressions & Happy Anniversary is from PTI …
