I saw this on a blog of Mindys & will add the link tomorrow but I want to make sure I don’t lose these or it might be another few months before I get this done !!!
I put a backing on this from some gold paper made from an envelope my friend Patti Park gave me. What a perfect weight of paper & a great way to use up something we might just toss out .. I stamped a SU angel on it to compliment this little cutie …
Here’s another bulb I made with a wonderful glitter technique I did at a class. We made this card but when I got home I decided to cut it out & stick it in a bulb for another new decoration …
I LOVE using something I learn that can be used for multiple craft projects … After we made this I colored it in with Copics ….
This is the backside of this scene, stamped with a fun Snow stamp …
This is another of my favorite mini Tilda’s
This is my grand daughter Ashley who is in the Airforce & can’t be home for Christmas, thought I’d make an ornament to hang on the tree so we can see her pretty face if she calls …
I seriously forgot how much I enjoyed this wonderful addiction & it feels like I’m “back home again” … Thanks for sticking with me & hopefully this will be the 1st of many new cards I’ll have to share. I’ve missed you my near & far stamping friends …
I'm entering this card it the Make it Monday challenge

I must tell you that my daughters mean the world to me !
So this sentiment was the perfect one to add on a card I made for my daughter Theresa who’s birthday was this week & who never even got a card from me on her special day. No one feels worse than I that although I own enough supplies to rival any craft store I didn’t get a card sent to her in time. We all know how life gets in the way of things we MEAN to do but don’t always get done. Are there any other card makers out there that procrastinate like I do ? My other daughter, Bridgette has a birthday in October so maybe if I start on it now I’ll have a card ready to mail her so it won’t be late . I made her an anniversary card years ago & it was so pretty but the sentiment didn’t look quite right so I took it back to redo & never did give it back … Now that was not very nice was it !!! I have SUCH good intentions !!!
This sentiment is from Whipper Snapper & is so Perfect & true !!! I used the Cheery Lynn screen door for this card & the cat is actually part of the die. When you cut it out you not only get an awesome door but a cat also … I cut the door out of cardstock then cut it again out of a woodgrain paper (which I also stamped the sentiment on) & glued it together. It comes with a little piece of screen but Bridgette who had just redone her screens just happened to have a large piece leftover which she shared with me. That girl can do anything !!! I’m such a “gatherer”. Sounds better than a “hoarder”… LOL … I’m always picking up tiny pine cones & moss & little pieces of cedar boughs to use on my cards but before I use it, it dries up …. I brought a little baggie of moss home from Florida but it didn’t dry well enough & was pretty smelly when I opened it. Guess I SHOULD have not sealed the bag.
I couldn’t leave the card alone & kept finding little things to add on it until it now looks a little “busy”. But that’s the way Theresa is, always busy… She’s always working or cleaning or running here & there for her family & for work. She LOVES her cats & her birds & then it just didn’t seem complete without adding a mini Tilda sitting there watching from the back door … I ran the “siding” on the house thru my Cuttlebug for a little texture & used a wonderful Cheery Lynn Flourish die for that leaf swirl & the flowers were made with Nellie Snellen punches. The birds are a little hand punch that is one of my favorite “go to” punches for a little added something. That gorgeous butterfly is also a Cheery Lynn. I LOVE all their dies !!! The grass on the bottom was made using my friend Ruth Ann’s Doohickey die. Can’t believe she has something I don’t have !!!! Maybe I need to go visit Diana’s wonderful Magnolia shop & pick this one up as it is very nice.
I printed out a little August calendar for the inside so I won’t forget what day it is !!! Ok I didn’t forget I just didn’t get it sent in time … Happy birthday Theresa even if it is late … At least I made sure the gallon of Huckleberries we picked for you made it before your birthday so you could have our world famous Huckleberry pancakes for breakfast. I actually shipped them clear across the US & didn’t know you could even do that & they would still be fresh.
The inside sentiment is from Just Rite stamps … And Theresa we all wish you were here !!! Alabama is tooooo far away.
Happy late Birthday from all of us.
Hugs, Mom & Janie

Something a little different but so much fun to make … I saw one of these cute little “pouches’ a couple of days ago & just had to give it a try. The 1st one turned out horrible as I didn’t get it folded correctly & it was all tilted off to the side like the leaning tower of Pisa. But I tried again & the next one was a little better but practice makes perfect & I was happier with the way this one turned out. Once I got it figured out it took me about 5 minutes to make. You could fill them with a few little items that would make make someone smile … I popped several Copic markers in this one along with a couple of Prisma pencils, a pair of small scissors & a new type of adhesive dot dispenser my daughter Theresa gave me when I was visiting her in Alabama. Works like a charm !!! Thanks Theresa !!!
I used some double sided Stampin Up paper & just did a couple of folds, no glue & it was done. Had a pretty little flower I had laying on my craft table that I had made from a die & added a tiny little butterfly & it was done.
Here’s another one I made in a flash to stick in a package with a few of my favorite recipe cards in it … Put a little Chef Edwin on it & it was done … Nothing fancy but I think they will be fun to add to a package for a friend or child. I’m going to make some more with treats for the kids … think they might enjoy them … I found this cute little folded pouch on Irene’s blog so am giving her credit for it. Go check out the adorable one she made.
Poor Edwin looks like he’s floating. Next time I’ll sit him on a cupcake or at least give the poor little dear a chair …
Have a great day & thanks for taking time to stop by my little corner of the world.

I’ve been out of town for several months & am not sure I even remember how to post something. I guess it’s time to get back to doing what I love !!! This is a little long but I’ve missed being here & missed hearing from so many of you. Is anyone else having a problem with blogger. My list of followers is here one day & then gone for a week … I NEED to see the sweet faces of my friends …
Once I got home I ran across the Stamp-a-ma-jig I’ve had for several years & never could figure out what to do with. I saw a post on Pam Spark’s wonderful blog where she mentioned she used that little tool soooooo thought I’d give it a try. Still not getting it !!! I e-mailed Pam & said ok why do you make this sound so easy when it’s so tough for me … She sent me a great little tutorial for using it & for masking which I ALSO had never tried. I watched her tutorial (check it out) & started playing with my little tool & I was hooked !!! Thanks Pam … Oh my goodness I started actually creating a scene by being able to position rocks & grass next to a fence … I stamped deer next to that & even put ducks near some cattails on another. I’m HOOKED !!! I feel like a rocket scientist after mastering these amazing tools. I also tried masking an image & was so impressed when I made Tilda sit on a fence for the 1st time. Then I opened my package of goodies I’d won from Jacque & in it was this great dandelion background.
The rocks are another little stamp that I use often for a little added touch as are the tufts of grass. Decided to stamp the Fairy Tilda & using the Stamp-a-ma-jig I was able to sit her on top of the stem of my background image. Thanks Jacque … Not sure she’s
too sturdy up there but she looks cute … If she’s been eating like me she won’t be able to sit there for long … Got my card finished for this post & an e-mail popped up for a challenge called “Make a Scene … Guess it was destiny cuz I had just done that … So this is my take on it …
Woops, just found out I can’t enter my card in the Making a Scene challenge cuz it also needs to be dimensional. Maybe next time …
Tried out Bev’s cloud template & it works great …It’s been so long since I colored I had to get my cheat sheet out to see what color do her skin & hair. Also tried out a couple of Prisma pencils, Olive & Light Umber to get a little extra shading. Have to work on that some more …
Used these Copic markers & the color you can’t see is C4… The butterflies are Cheery Lynn dies … LOVE them & they cut like a dream … On the inside of my card (as I did on the front) I used a little spray of flowers from WOC’s .
All papers are from Stampin Up & that sweet sentiment is one I found on Nichole’s blog … now that lady has some gorgeous cards & was so kind to ship me some of her sentiments I raved so much about & tell me where to find others I HAD to have. Check out her amazing cards & you’re in for a treat.
I’m out of breath from all this talking !!! Glad to be back & thanks to all who checked in with me while I was away.

I think I’m getting Spring Fever !!!
I’ve been cleaning out some areas in my craft room that were over flowing with great supplies but things I haven’t used in quite awhile. I decided it needs to go in a yard sale so hopefully some ladies can get some good out of my buying binges … Am I the only one who does that !!! So many things I “gotta have” but once I get it I don’t know what to do with it so it just sits waiting for me to create something with it … I worked hard so I’m taking a little break & decided to make a “Spring” card today. Some of the pictures seem a little small tonight but you can click on them to make them larger.
This is called a “Flower Pot” card & I’ve seen a few out there but wanted mine to be a little larger. I needed it to be 5 inches wide so I could use my new Ribbon border die I just got from my local scrapbook store, Memory Lane … I LOVE this die & was lucky enough to be there when they just got them in … The tag is another new die I got at the same time. It matches the ribbon die & I stamped a sentiment on some vanilla cardstock & cut it out with my Wizard …Oh my, I bought that from the same store too …
Can you tell I love to shop !!! Sorry Jay but at least I don’t drink or gamble . I do think those addictions would be cheaper than this one but I LOVE what I do & remember he tells me if it makes me happy I SHOULD buy it. I smile again when I think he doesn’t know just “HOW” happy I am !!!
Now you can see that beautiful matching tag … I stamped the sentiment on it & then attached a Prima flower to it so I could pull it out of my “flower pot” … Then it just pops right back inside nestled among the rest of the spring bouquet …
I inked around everything with SU Creamy Caramel to add a little interest to it ...
Here’s a close up of the sweet little mini Tilda sitting here waiting for spring … I got her from Diana at Magnolia-licious … Another wonderful place to shop …

A dear sweet lady from Sweden named Titti sent me a few of these wonderful butterflies & I LOVE them !!! They are so delicate it’s hard to believe they’re made from paper. They come in 3 different sizes & I can’t wait to use them on other projects. Please check out her blog & cute cards.
I used a piece of wallpaper for the background behind the cute little Tilda but should have used a lighter color so my leaf with flowers shows up better. The leaf is a beautiful ribbon I got from my local scrapbook store Memory Lane …The “dresser” was aged using Tim Holtz’s Vintage Photo distress ink & tiny brads are used for the knobs.

I love you to the Moon and back !!! This is a wonderful sentiment that I’ve seen in the past & always planned on getting . Thanks to Wendy who taught a Dreamweavers class I went to last month for telling me where to buy it. The wonderful swirly heart stencil was the one we used in her class. I must admit I went to the class thinking it was a waste of my time & money but came away LOVING it !!! The stencils, paste & glitter technique was so fun it was like being in Kindergarten …
I tried to get a good picture of this but we had only a few minutes of sunshine today after getting 6 inches of snow so I took a picture on the dash of the motorhome where there was more light.
I DO love this sentiment from Verve & you will probably see it often on my cards … The mini Tilda is from Diana at Magnolia-licious & colored with Copics … The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts & if I was home I would have spritzed them with Glimmer mist but thought after taking a month off I should get this posted before you all thought I’d run away … Papers are from JoAnn’s & cardstock is SU … The sentiment is stamped on Nesties heart dies & popped up with foam tape …
Also wanted to share this beautiful quilt & matching pillow cases my daughter Bridgette made me for my birthday today. I believe it’s called Trip Around The World & I absolutely LOVE it !!! Isn’t it gorgeous… She has sewn more quilts this last year than most people will make in a lifetime & each one is “SEW” amazing !!! She can totally finish a quilt from start to end before I could even pick out the fabric for one. I will treasure this always ….

Hello my faithful followers !!! I’m sure you all thought I got lost but I’ve just been doing a little cleaning & had to find my way back out of the closet … Somehow my walk-in closet became the area that anything that didn’t have a place was stuck in. Finally got that mess cleaned up & what a great feeling that is.
My card today is a wonderful little hAnglar image that was a gift from a sweet friend. I’ve colored this little cutie with Copics & cut her out with my petite oval Spellbinders dies & am entering her in several challenges …

Here’s a close up of my little girl who reminds me of my daughters when they were about this age. I loved to put their hair in pigtails but they didn’t like it much. WHY do Mom’s do that ?
Here’s a close up of the beautiful Prima flower all spritzed with Glimmer Mist … Oh how it sparkles !!!
I decorated the inside with Pink Petticoat digi paper & used 2 different border punches on it … Made a little pocket for the sentiment using a Doohickey tag I got from Diana at Magnolia-licious …
Hope you enjoyed this little card made with a whole lot of love … Leave a little comment if you like so I’ll know you popped by for a peek …

Just wanted to post a quick card I made awhile back to show the difference in the size of the regular & new little mini’s …
I’ve used both the regular & mini Tilda as Christmas Angel stamp & the mini Star Tilda on these projects. Tomorrow I’ll take a couple more pictures of the little ones & post them on here …
When I 1st got the mini’s, I opened the package & seriously was disappointed … They were MUCH smaller than I thought they’d be … But then I stamped one & couldn’t believe that there is every bit of detail in the mini’s as the larger stamps just a whole lot less to color … I colored one up & “fell in love” … They are ADORABLE in every way … They fit perfectly on the little Doohickey tags & the small nested shapes & make wonderful gift tags & small note cards. Now I can use all those spools of thin ribbon & small embellishments that seemed to tiny to put on larger cards…... They are small enough to be grouped together or used with other background stamps. You will be seeing these little cuties pop up on everything & Diana over at Magnolia-licious is the only place carrying them right now. She’s so sweet to talk to on the phone or by e-mail & one day I’d love to meet her in person.
I'm entering this just for fun in these challenges

I’d like to take this time to thank my husband for his patience & support in always indulging me in this crazy addiction … He spends a lot of time home alone while I’m off working to support my “habit” & never complains… Also want to thank my daughters for always being there to help me with problems I had getting my blog started … Without them I’d never have been brave enough to give this a try. You always give me faith & confidence to be the best that I can be & gave me the courage to post my cards when I didn’t think they were good enough to share. I was blessed to have the best daughters ever !!!
Last of all I wish to thank each & every one of my wonderful followers who make such lavish comments on things I do & make me glad I started my blog. I’ve met some of the most amazing ladies that I now call friends (you know who you are) & I appreciate all the kind words & help you’ve given me throughout these last 7 months. It’s nice to know you’re only a click away.
Happy New Year & may this year be even better than last …
